My Rifle, My Pony and Me: Movie and TV Soundtracks

Drawn from Western movie and TV soundtracks of the '40s, '50s and '60s, this compilation brings together hits (like Johnny Horton's "North to Alaska" and Johnny Cash's "The Rebel Johnny Yuma") and celebrity performances (like Jimmy Stewart singing "The Legend of Shenandoah" and Kirk Douglas warbling "And the Moon Grew Brighter!"). John Wayne opens the CD, introducing Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson before they sing the collection's title track (from "Rio Bravo").
