Various Artists Hallowed Be Thy Name - An Old-Time Religion Collection - CD Album

A unique compilation of old school gospel music culled from various sources documents some regional groups recorded between the early 1950's and early 1970's. These groups performed with an old time feeling that transcends the religious implications of the music that eventually paved the way and informed modern ‘soul’ music as we know it.
