In August 1962, Brazilian producer Aloysio de Oliveira created a landmark moment in music history by uniting the founding trio of Bossa Nova on stage for the very first time. Over the course of six weeks, Ant�nio Carlos Jobim, Vin�cius de Moraes, and Jo�o Gilberto-joined by the vocal group Os Cariocas, with Milton Banana on drums and Otavio Bailly on double bass-captivated audiences at the Au Bon Gourmet restaurant in Copacabana, one of Rio de Janeiro's most iconic neighborhoods. For decades, only those who attended these performances had the privilege of witnessing this unique collaboration. Recently, recordings from two of those evenings were unearthed and carefully remastered, resulting in this LP.
