Imperception is The Rockets' seventh studio album, released in 1984. This album marks a significant turning point in the group's career, as it is the first LP recorded without Christian LeBartz, who was replaced by the Englishman Sal Solo. The group transitions into a quartet while maintaining their trademark "shaved" aesthetic. This will also be the last album featuring Alain Groetzinger, while G�rard L'Her, who played a fundamental role as bass player and main composer alongside Alain Maratrat, also contributed significantly.
