This vinyl edition includes two EPs, one on each side: "By the Ash Tree" and "Upstream Dream", originally recorded and released in 2020 and 2021 respectively. To connect these compositions, Matt Kidd (Slow Meadow) composed new segues/crossfades from song to song, allowing the pieces to be experienced in one cohesive and harmonious flow. The title track of "By the Ash Tree" is one of Slow Meadow's most popular and enduring compositions.
