Almost four years after the acclaimed Vsesvit, Ukrainian one-man atmospheric black metal band Severoth is back with a new studio album. Multi-instrumentalist Illia Rafalskyi takes some time to introduce his latest work. Originally intended as the spiritual successor for Vsesvit, this album aims to inspire listeners to become better versions of themselves amidst challenging times. Featuring powerful and energetic compositions, the music reflects hope and resilience. The album was crafted from 2021 until early 2022 amidst the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine, with all music and lyrics composed by Illia Rafalskyi. The lyrics are primarily in Ukrainian, with translations included in the booklet. The cover art and illustrations were created by Rafalskyi’s wife, Julia. Severoth expresses gratitude for completing and sharing this album with the world.
