Roadside Burning Blood Ties - DVD

Any detective will tell you that the beginning is the most important time in a criminal investigation. If there are no significant developments within the first 48 hours, the chances of solving the case are cut in half. THE FIRST 48 chronicles this critical period, following real-life detectives as they race the clock to identify suspects and unravel clues while the crime is still fresh.A driver on the highway spots a man beside the road who turns out to have been stabbed in the chest and partially burnt. The corpse propels the detectives on an odyssey through a rowdy world of Texas prostitutes and drugs. And when a hard working Mexican migrant is found dead in a parking lot, detectives can't find a motive. As their investigation deepens, the detectives must navigate a complex web of family ties to identity the killer... and catch him before he can flee across the border to Mexico.
