Per Arne Glorvigen Violent Tenderness / Kykelipi / Polaco - CD Album
After having worked on several pieces for bandoneon and orchestra in recent years, I felt the urge to present some of my chamber music. All music featuring the bandoneon inevitably conjures up associations with tango, and yes, my music is no exception. This album includes works like Violent Tenderness and Polaco, showcasing a unique blend of styles. My aim is to expand the repertoire of the bandoneon by incorporating new influences such as French chansons and contemporary music, alongside the recognizable tango rhythms. This music is Tangst con brio, offering a fresh and modern perspective on traditional sounds.
