Overview
Set in 18th century France during the revolution, two sisters make their way to Paris to seek medical treatment finding desperation, love and corruption along the way. Powerful nobles are contrasted with the homeless in a film said to examine class conflict with a call for common understanding. Based on the play Les Deux Orphalines" by Adolph d'Ennery and Eugene Cormon. Silent with musical score.
