Noam Chomsky is Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) within the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy. Chomsky is considered among the most important intellectual contributors to the study of language and mind. He has written and lectured widely on linguistics, philosophy, and intellectual history.
