This album features violin virtuoso Kees Hlsmann, concertmaster of the Rotterdam Philharmonic, and pianist Matthew Edwards performing "Atlantic Crossing," the duo version of Peter Scott Lewis' acclaimed "Second Violin Concerto," originally commissioned and premiered by the Rotterdam Philharmonic. In addition, the CD features the Hiraga/Wyrick/Shapiro Trio, an excellent group from the San Francisco Symphony performing "Rhapsodic Images," Lewis' highly developed piano trio.
