Les Mamans Du Congo Wa Sangi - Record Album - Vinyl LP

What if the forest could speak? Since their debut, Les Mamans du Congo & Rrobin have been building a body of work at the intersection of cultural transmission and experimentation. Following a well-received self-titled debut album, then *Ya Mizolé*, which asserted a strong Afro-retro-futurist and feminist identity, the collective continues on its path with *WA SANGI*: "listen to the forest." This third album marks a shift in their perspective, broadening without ever straying from their original anchor: the role of women and mothers in passing on traditions. Musically, WA SANGI deepens the band's signature sound by asserting a unique creative approach without pre-established frameworks. Listening to the forest, here, is a necessity. This product includes: a high-quality vinyl LP featuring their latest work, genre-defining music that integrates traditional Congolese sounds with modern textures, and showcases their commitment to social and ecological awareness.
