The Legend of MexMan - Blu-Ray

Working out of an abandoned hangar at a small regional airport in East Los Angeles, German Alonso surrounds himself in a Gilliam-esque fantasy world, expressing his vision the only way he knows how: making phantasmagorical films with help from his friends, family and hundreds of handmade puppets. But when a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity comes along to adapt a feature-length version of his college thesis film, about a Mexican immigrant-turned-cyborg named "MexMan" - Alonso's own superpowers begin to strain, as creative conflicts emerge with his producers and an old crush reappears. Welcome to THE LEGEND OF MEXMAN, the (almost) unbelievable outsider-turned-hero tale that Film Threat calls "One of the great stand-up-and-cheer underdog sagas of all time."
