First Reformed First Reformed - Blu-Ray
Aging minister Ernst Toller (Ethan Hawke) subsumed a lifetime's regrets in his quiet shepherding of a historic but fading small-town church. However, when a pregnant parishioner (Amanda Seyfried) sought special counsel for her environmentally conscious and despondent husband (Brian Ettinger), the reticent reverend might meet his own dangerous crisis of faith. Engrossing return to form for writer-director Paul Schrader.
