Meet Kenny Powers (Danny McBride). He's a husky, foul-mouthed pitcher in Major League Baseball whose drinking, drugging, and womanizing ways cost him his career. Washed up, he returns to his hometown to teach middle-school P.E. Believing his lot to be temporary, Powers offends everyone in his path while preparing to return to the majors, terrorizing his brother's family, and pining for his old high-school flame (Katy Mixon) in this uproarious HBO series.
