Fabliaux is a new suite of music composed by Dave Douglas for Monash Art Ensemble, an improvising chamber orchestra based in Melbourne, Australia. Douglas draws inspiration from composers of the early 14th century French Ars Nova, most notably Guillaume De Machaut, to present intriguing sounscapes both tried and new.
