Bertrand Chamayou Messiaen, Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jesus - 2-Disc CD Album
A giant fresco, a kind of odyssey, Olivier Messiaen's piano masterwork, Vingt Regards sur L'Enfant-Jésus, is a monumental and mystical sequence of contemplations on the infant Jesus. Bertrand Chamayou, who first played this work in 2008, describes the experience as mystical, akin to walking into a magnificent cathedral or seeing a glorious sunset. This product features two discs, perfect for experiencing the full depth of Messiaen's emotional and spiritual intent.
