Starting out as a group called Barbara J. & The Silver Slippers at the beginning of the 1960s, Barbara Sullivan, her younger sister Shirley Sullivan, and Kim Lewis were protégés of the popular singing group The Jive Five. They also recorded as The Sweethearts on Brunswick Records, and later on as the Lovables on Toot Records. This ultra-rare 1961 single features a lovely doo-wop tinged ballad and an upbeat affair, newly remastered and available in the digital domain.
