Alice Darling Alice, Darling
Alice (Anna Kendrick) was reticent when oldest friends Sophie (Wunmi Mosaku) and Tess (Kaniehtiio Horn) insisted she join a lake house birthday getaway, to the point where she told artist boyfriend Simon (Charlie Carrick) it was a business trip. As the journey unfolds, so does the truth about the subtle and toxic manipulation Simon wields over their relationship-and her companions might help her on the rocky path out, in Mary Nighy's compelling and suspenseful study. 90 min.
