Overview

Giuseppe Verdi's masterpiece Aida at La Scala in Milan is an experience in itself. Legendary stage director Peter Stein succeeds in delivering a lucid production acclaimed in equal measure by the press and public. The great German director, a naturalized Italian, has promised eine ganz intime Aida, a totally intimate Aida. Zubin Mehta leads the famous Coro e Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala.
