The one thing that derails this collection and sadly makes it impossible to recommend is the inexplicable omission of \"If I Were a Carpenter,\" Hardin's most well-known song. If you can find it, your first Hardin purchase should be Repertoire's two-fer that pairs Tim Hardin 1 and Tim Hardin 2. Otherwise, stick to the bare-bones yet more complete 20th Century Masters -- The Millennium Collection: The Best of Tim Hardin.
